Delete Your Account & Data
ChiroWell — Account Deletion Request
You can request that your ChiroWell account and all associated personal and health data be permanently deleted at any time. There are two ways to make this request.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open ChiroWell and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Dashboard and select the Account tab.
- Under Data & Privacy, tap Request Data Deletion.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account and data will be erased immediately and you will be signed out.
Option 2 — By email
If you can no longer access your account, send a deletion request from the email address registered with ChiroWell. Please include your full name and the words "Account Deletion Request" so we can identify your account.
Contact your registered chiropractic practice directly.
We aim to process emailed deletion requests within 30 days of receiving all required information to verify your identity.
What data is deleted
When your request is processed, the following data is permanently erased:
- Account & profile data (name, email, phone number, demographics).
- Clinical & care plan data linked to your account, including exercise progress and clinician notes you submitted.
- Habit & wellness tracking — daily habits, custom habits, and their logs (hydration, movement, fibre, sit breaks, ice/heat).
- Submitted questions and answers.
- Streak counts and milestone records.
- App usage & device data tied to your account.
What may be retained
- Payment & billing records: Basic transaction records held by our payment provider (Stripe) may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations. ChiroWell does not store full card numbers.
- Legal & medical record obligations: Where applicable law or professional health record requirements mandate a longer retention period, certain clinic-held clinical records may be retained by your treating practice in line with UK medical records retention (typically up to 8 years after your last treatment). These are held by the clinic, not by the ChiroWell app, and must be requested directly from your practitioner.
- Anonymized/aggregated data: Any data already stripped of identifying information and used only for aggregate analytics may be retained, as it can no longer be linked to you.
Deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted you will need to create a new account to use ChiroWell again, and any previous habit history, plans, or progress cannot be restored.
